FREQENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

"How do I book?"

Head over to the "Contact" tab and fill out the info! I cannot wait to chat with you! I require a 50% deposit to ensure your booking with me.

"Do you do payment plans?"

YES! I'm also okay if you need to split up your initial 50% deposit.

"What should I wear?"

I highly recommend wearing mainly earthy tones and neutrals! Stay clear of bright colors and super loud patterns! I love helping pick out outfits so shoot me a text or facetime me if you want help!!

"When do I get my final images?"

This is my full-time job so I normally have albums complete within 2-4 weeks and you'll receive a sneak peek within 24-48 hours.

"How many images will I receive in my completed album?"

You'll receive about 30-50 edited images an hour!

"Am I suppose to know how to pose?"

Absolutely not- part of my job is posing you and doing what looks best for you.  If you have insecure areas like a double chin or larger arms, those are fixed in posing, not in Photoshop! I encourage you to find a photographer that can highlight your best features and possibly take them for a test session. As far as expressions, I only photograph the most genuine moments. Anyone can notice a fake smile or laugh. In couple portrait session, I advise them to focus on each other and to pretend that I'm not there. Those make the best photographs.

"What kind of photography do you do?"

I love taking pictures of anything! I primarily do portraits for weddings, graduation seniors, boudoir, families, and expecting couples full-time, but occasionally do nature, pets, and business headshots. In 2022, my mission is to work more with local small businesses!

"What kind of experience do you have?"

Before my discovered love for photography, I was a raptor trainer for the American Eagle Foundation in Dollywood and veterinary technician for four years. I've always taken pictures on my phone for as long as I've had a phone- taking pictures of anything amazing that I wanted to remember for more than the moment. I've been taking professional pictures since 2019 through mentorships while I was in college for my environmental science degree. When I wanted to take photography seriously in 2020, oddly enough, I started working at the largest old time photo studio in the country located in Pigeon Forge, TN. This old time photo studio was famous for their costumes that could fit up to 5XL body types and I learned how to professionally photograph plus size women! Through body shaping techniques and different types of studio lighting, I was able to highlight the best features of my clients and make them see how beautiful they were! While working at the studio, I taught high school  photography part-time to grades 9-12 at my alma mater, Concord Christian School, during the pandemic. Any free time I had on the weekends, I was photographing my own clients and loving every moment of it! In June 2021, I decided to go full-time with my own photography business!

"What kind of equipment do you use?"

Canon all  the way!

"Can I bring my pets?"

Please bring your pets, they are also a part of your family! If you also have a sweet old dog or cat that doesn't like or cannot go outside, I'm happy to do a home session.

"Do you travel?"

Of course! Please send me an inquiry about your photography needs and where you need me!
